Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day weekend, Treona and I decided to enjoy a private relaxing day after work. We got us a 12 pack of beer and lounged around the pool for a few hours. Talk about relaxing!

I've never really enjoyed warm/hot weather or summer, but for some reason, I'm loving it this year! I just want to be at the pool and hot tub all of the time and eat lots of fruit and summer drinks, vacations, and enjoy summer nights at house parties.

Lady Gaga House Party

So for the past couple of days, blogger hasn't been wanting to allow me to login. Every time I would enter my password it would just refresh the page. Has this happened to anyone else?

Anyway, on Tuesday night, I went to a house party at my friend Colleen's. It was a Lady Gaga dance party in celebration of her new album, Born This Way. The night started out pretty chill until the whiskey kicked into everyone's bloodstream and everyone got a little crazy. I'll let the photo's speak for themselves.

The past few months I've ventured away from my usual dark ensembles for nice day looks. I've really been into blues lately. Here's a little blue combination I had for a relaxed day of Angel, natural hair, and my home cooked pasta. :)

Tonight I'm attending a Lady Gaga party at a friends. I'll be sure and post pictures of the night and what I wore!

Happy Easter

To celebrate Easter, I had a few of my close friends over for a home cooked organic meal. Keisha and Eric brought purple cookies and confetti filled eggs for some after dinner fun!

NFW Day 5

Sorry again for the late posts. I really hope to get my internet together soon. I'm also trying to work on making this blog look a little better than it does. It's just so bleh to me so I can only imagine what readers are thinking. Anyway, here is my final post on Nashville Fashion Week.

The final day of Fashion Week was so much fun. Best designer of the night goes to Steven Oo. The detailing in every piece was such a great surprise compared to some of the designers that opened that day.

After the shows I attended the official after party for Fashion Week. I met up with my friend Jazmin and we took the night on. This was the best party that I have attended in a good while. The mint juleps, vodka lotus, endless sweets and pasta boxes put me right in a good place.
Once I had a nice buzz going I decided it was time to go. Always best to leave a party on a good note and before everyone else.
