So I have some exciting news. I just took on another internship with Vitalic Noise for their fashion column! I'll be posting 1-2 articles on their website a week. Check out my first one below!
For the 4th of July I decided to get a bunch of food and bbq for some friends. I cooked chicken, burgers, and brats on the grill. We chatted over fruit, chips, and lots of beer (gotta be festive right?). Have any of you ever cooked with the Jack Daniels wood chips? If not, you need to asap, you can smell the Jack as soon as you open the bag and makes the food taste amazing.
After eating our weight in food we decided to all go home and take a nap and get ready for fireworks later. We ended up driving around for like an hour and a half to find fireworks! Overall I had a really lovely 4th.

I honestly don't think I've ever been so excited for a break from school. I've been keeping really busy with events, traveling, work, summer reading, and spending time with those close to me. I love summer! I passed all of my classes and did pretty well, which is always a nice mood elevator. I'm planning on taking a little road trip within the next couple of weeks, so get ready for that :)
For my break I plan on lots of time at the pool, hot tub nights, grilling, house parties, events, cooking dinner, traveling, and lots of snuggles.

With the quarter almost finished, I'm swarmed with studying for exams and finishing my final projects. I've never had so many things going on at once in my life! My Creative Writing teacher has been on me hard about my final project. He doesn't really understand anyone in the class except the audio and video students. I guess it's understandable since that's what he's all about.
This is my first time ever filming or editing a video and I had a lot of fun with it. I decided to make a experimental film on beauty and used the theme song from Nip/Tuck (how perfect).
Check out the video below and please give me your opinions!
Tuesday night I went to Mai, my favorite club in Nashville, with some of my favorite dancing friends. Treona and Lynn always make sure wherever we are, it's a night to remember. Following tradition, we all met up at my apartment and had a glass of champagne before going out. As soon as we got there we were dancing and didn't stop until we left! Kevin was playing the best songs.
Because of upcoming projects, work, exams and some traveling (which I will tell you all about later) I won't be going out very much. That's ok though, I need some time away from the night life.
Check out the photos below and tell me what you think!

I'm loving these summer nights and even the days! I'm kind of ok with being hot and getting a little sun for once, and it shows with my farmers tan (Haha)!
So I FINALLY got my internet all set up. It's still being a little funny, but I hope everything will work out and I can start blogging a lot more. I also learned to upload my photos to a photobucket account so that they're not resized awkward. Plus you can click the image to see the actual size. Maybe I'll try and create a flickr account for my photos this week.
Tomorrow (maybe even tonight!?) I'll show you some photos from one of the best nights I've had at Mai. If you've never been to Mai on a tuesday for old school hip hop night, you must go!
